8/12/08 If I want it all to cross-pollinate, each pursuit to influence and be influenced by all the others, I have to pursue them all simultaneously. I look at my own life and the lives of those around me -- friends, family, strangers. I see lives whose courses are determined by a sequence of small acts, often the same act repeated over and over.
