3/23/09 I had previously thought that these drawings might be best stopped after the completion of the 6or 8 that are symmetrical, without continuing on with the 8 that are asymmetrical. However, at this moment I can see that that would be incomplete, not just conceptually/mathematically, but also visually. The symmetrical ones are static -- they have a stasis that is broken up by the asymmetrical ones. The asymmetrical ones bring a nice flow and unpredictability back into the work.
